Who We Are
Middletown is home to a strong network of early childhood partners working together to create a community where all children and families can thrive.
Connecting families, partners, and resources across Middletown.
The Middletown Early Childhood Partnership, also known as the Early Childhood Collaborative and School Readiness Council, brings together local agencies, educators, service providers, and parents to support children from birth through early elementary years. Together, we focus on building a connected system that supports healthy development, strong learning foundations, and access to essential resources.
Our work centers around three key areas:
- Health & Child Development
- Preparing for School
- Community Resources
By working across these focus areas, we help ensure families can find the support they need at every stage of early childhood.
Ensuring that all Middletown children are healthy and ready for school and life.
We take both a big-picture and individual approach. On a systems level, we ask important questions about how to create nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality environments for children and the adults who care for them. At the same time, we recognize that every family’s needs are different, and we strive to connect families with the services and supports that work best for them.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We work to strengthen communication between child care providers, schools, health professionals, and community organizations so that everyone supporting a child is aligned and informed.
At its core, our goal is simple: to make it easier for families in Middletown to find support, feel connected, and give their children the strongest possible start.
